"I joined Rob's early morning Burpham boot camp back in January (yes there was snow on the ground!). Before that I been doing some gym work for a few months in an effort to get fit having lost weight but my gym partner moved away and I found it difficult to motivate myself to exercise.

I started off doing just one session a week and have to admit that I was very nervous before the first session. The very phrase 'Boot Camp' bought visions of some Sergeant Major type shouting at me and me collapsing after about 10 mins. I was also worried that everyone else would be more fit than me. I couldn't have been more wrong, Rob doesn't shout but offers real encouragement and pushes where necessary. The exercises are very varied - no 2 boot camps are the same and there are options for all levels of fitness from those just starting out to those who are seriously fit.

The thing that has probably surprised me the most is how much I enjoy the sessions. There are a real mix of people at the sessions but everyone is there to improve their own fitness and there's usually some lively banter and a fair few laughs. I'm now a real convert to early morning boot camps and do 2 sessions a week now and my fitness levels have improved significantly and I'm having fun!"
